Helen Louise Fullam, 80 formerly of the Old Claremont Road in Charlestown, died Monday, July 4, 2005 at the Haven Health Center in Claremont after a long illness. She was born in Chester, VT on April 26, 1925 the daughter of John M. and Nancy G. (Snide) Wright. Helen was a long time member of the Past Nobel Grand’s and the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post #8497. She enjoyed her vegetable stand and flower gardens. She loved family cookouts and get-togethers. Helen had worked as the manager of Allen Brothers Stand in Westminster, VT and also managed the Claremont Allen Brothers Stand for many years. She later had her own vegetable stand on the Old Claremont Road in Charlestown. In April of 2005, Helen had enjoyed her 80th birthday party with 85 guests present. There was singing by Ruben Quellet and The Gospel Train. The surviving family includes one son, Lynn W. Fullam, III and his wife, Peggy of Keene, NH; one daughter, Linda Fullam and her husband Ed Narushof of Charlestown; two grandsons, Jeffrey Fullam, US Army and his wife, Debbie stationed in Germany and Shane Frost US Army and his wife, Sandy stationed in Seattle, WA; one granddaughter, Jennifer Kosakowski and her husband, Lennie; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kerrie and Lacie; two sisters, Margaret Bacon and her husband, Romaine and Marjory Allen and her husband Russell; one brother, Floyd Wright and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lynn W. Fullam, Jr. in 1996 whom she married sixty years ago, also two brothers, Milton Wright and Norman Wright. Funeral Services will be held Saturday afternoon, July 9th at One O’clock in the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown with Pastor Russell Allen of the Christian Family Circle Church of Bellows Falls, VT, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown. The family suggest that donations may be made in her memory to the Charlestown Ambulance Service, P.O Box 369; Charlestown Visiting Nurses Association, P.O. Box 343 or the Charlestown Memorial VFW Post #8497, all of Charlestown, NH 03603. A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at the Charlestown Memorial VFW Post on the Lovers Lane Road in Charlestown, NH. |
