Henry Daniel Ferguson, III, also known as "the Big H" and "Henron", 22, died
Friday afternoon, March 9, 2007 at his home on Winter Street. He had
previously lived with his grandparents on Thrasher Road most of his life.
He was born in Claremont, NH on January 22, 1985 the son of Henry D. and
Tammie (Lizotte) Ferguson, Jr. He was raised in Newport and came to
Claremont when he was sixteen. Henry attended Stevens High School where he
played football and graduated as Valedictorian of his class in 2003 from the
New Hampshire Community Technical College of Claremont.
His first job was working as a cashier at Wal-Mart for two years and after
graduation he worked for Developmental Services of Sullivan County where he
took care of mentally challenged people for two years.
He was very easy going and was a people-person who loved everyone he came in
contact with. He loved life, music and playing video games.
His passion was football, collecting hats and tattoos. He also loved his
dogs and children. He was especially close to Melanie and Jenna Coleman whom
he took care of on a daily basis, who will never forget him.
The surviving family includes, his maternal grandparents, Mike and Bernice
Cote of Claremont; his best friend and uncle, Damien and his wife, Jennifer
Bailey of Claremont; other relatives include an uncle Scott and wife Donna
Lizotte of Claremont; his grandfather, Armand "Skip" Lizotte of Newport;
cousin, Chad Tunner, great uncles, Eldon Roy, Ray Roy and his wife, Eunice;
his grandfather, Henry D. Ferguson, Sr.; his parents, Henry D. and Tammie
Ferguson, Jr.; his brother, John Ferguson; his sister, Emily Ferguson all of
Clay, LA; also many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Claremont
and Louisiana. He was pre-deceased by his great-grandparents, George and
Ruth Roy and great uncle, Stephen Roy.

A Memorial service will be held Friday evening, March 16th at Six O'clock at
the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with Rev. Dale
Louise Nicholas, Pastor of the United Church of Cornish, officiating.
Friend may call at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from four to six
O'clock prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Damien Bailey, 44 Thrasher
Road, Claremont, NH 03743 to help with expenses.
