Howard Earl Jillson, 81, of the Haven Health Center of Claremont, died
Saturday morning, March 3, 2007 at the Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in Dummerston, VT on June 20, 1925 the son of Lester and Olive
(Gates) Jillson  and had resided in Claremont for the past five years.  He
started out as a young man working for Aubuchon Hardware in Brattleboro, VT
and became the manager of the Franklin store in the early 60's.  He later
drove truck for several companies for many years until he had a stroke in
1987.  He was a former member of the Elks.

The surviving family includes his wife, Edna Louise Jillson of Grafton; two
daughters, Ruth Higgins of Franklin and Alberta Jillson of Worcester, MA;
one son, Howard Jillson of Grafton; also six adopted children, Darlene,
Jeannette, Paul, Grace, Jessie and Jeannette; several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; one sister in Connecticut and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday afternoon, March 7th  at Two
O'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont.

Interment will be at a later date in Dummerston, VT.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from One to Two O'clock
prior to the services.
