Hugh Joseph Fulton, Jr., 73, of John Stark Highway in Newport, died Tuesday
afternoon, March 20, 2007.  He was born in Rumford, Maine on December 6,
1933 the son of Hugh Joseph and Velma (Spalding) Fulton.

Hugh was raised in Mexico, ME and had lived in CT, MA, WA and CO before
settling in CA, where he had resided for 42 years.  His family members
convinced him to retire back east where he had spent the last year of his
life.  Hugh was a hard worker who loved the outdoors.  He loved to hunt,
fish, camp, cook and bargain shop. 

The surviving family includes two daughters, Lisa Brokaw of Ojai, CA and
Sheila Tarantino of New Haven, CT; two sons, Clifford Fulton of Ville Platt,
LA and Donald Fulton of Ansonia, CT; two step-sons, Leonard Champoux and
Daniel Champoux; two sisters, Birdina Allen of Livermore Falls, ME and
Sharee Thompson of Roxbury, ME; two brothers, Keith Fulton of Lempster, NH
and Dale Fulton of West Richland, WA; three grandchildren, Tara Fulton,
Patrick Tarantino, Sierra Tarantino; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Eleven O'clock
at The First Baptist Church in Mexico, ME.
