Janice Elaine Nelson, 65, of Twistback Road in Claremont, died Saturday morning, April 22, 2006 at her home. She was born in Guild, NH on September 8, 1940 the daughter of Bert M. and Ida L. (Channell) Eddy. Janice worked for plastic and shoe shops for many years and retired from Tambrands, Inc. after 26 years of service, in 1995. She was a communicant of St Mary's Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister for seven years. She loved working in her flower garden, cooking on the holidays and spending time with her husband, Ron and their dog, "Max". She also enjoyed all the time spent with her family and friends and the many wonderful times they shared together. The surviving family includes her husband, Ronald B. Nelson of Claremont whom she married July 4, 1981; one son, Malcolm S. Stevens of Rochester, NH; two step-children, Bradley A. Nelson of Claremont and Kimberly A. Geldart of Charlestown; one grandson, Daniel Stevens; one granddaughter, Victoria Stevens; one sister, Grace E. Campoli of Sunrise, FL; four brothers, Bert M. Eddy and Allen L. Eddy both of Charlestown, Charles H. Eddy of Manchester, VT and Marlin A. Eddy of Newport; also nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her parents, two sisters, Carol J. Pellerin and Linda Willey and one brother, Michael B. Eddy. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, April 26th at Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor of St Mary's Church, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St Mary's Cemetery. The Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 850 Sligo Ave., Suite 800, Silver Spring, MD 20910. |
