Jeannette J. Cushing, 88, of N. Pinewish Court in Surprise, AZ, formerly of
Charlestown died Tuesday evening, October 30, 2007 in Surprise, Arizona.

She was born in Greenfield, MA on December 21, 1918 the daughter of John J.
and Katherine (O'Brien) Moroney.

She had resided with her son in Arizona for the past three years and had
previously lived in Charlestown  and in Manchester, CT.

Mr. & Mrs. "C" were inducted into the Fall Mountain Hall of Fame in 1999 for
their support of all the athletic teams.

She was the widow of Melbourne Cushing whom she married on September 15,
1939 and he died September 23, 2000.

The surviving family includes one son, George Cushing and his wife, Jeanette
of Surprise, AZ;  two grandsons, John J. Cushing of Toms River, NJ and
George E. Cushing, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; two granddaughters, Noreen J.
Lankin of Philadelphia, PA and Katherine Hilton of Leesburg, VA also six
great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at St Catherine's of Siena Cemetery on
Saturday morning, November 3rd at Eleven Thirty with Rev. Father Michael
Gendron, Pastor officiating.

The family suggest that donations may be made in her memory to the Highway
Christian Hospice, 67 East Weldon Ave., Suite 317, Phoenix, AZ 35012-2045.
