Jennifer Dorothy Spoerl, 41, of Blossom Street in Bradford, MA, died at The
Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA on Thursday evening March 31, 2005 after a
courageous four year battle against cancer.

She was born in Bellows Falls, VT on September 20, 1963 and grew up in
Walpole, NH, Randolph, VT and Springvale, ME.  She graduated from Sanford
(ME) High School in1981 and then attended both the University of Maine at
Orono and the University of Southern Maine in Portland.  Over the years she
was employed with TWA Services at Yellowstone National Park System, Compass
Group/Daka as assistant general manager at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro,
NH, Director of Dining Services at Eastern Maine Technical College in
Bangor, Maine, Banquet Manager and Condominium Supervisor at the Sheraton
Harborside in Portsmouth, NH.  Most recently she was with Michael's
Harborside in Newburyport, MA.

She pursued a lifelong passion of horsemanship and was an accomplished
equestrian.  She loved all animals great and small.

She is survived by her parents, Walter and Elsie (Burke) Spoerl of
Charlestown; a brother, Howard Davis Spoerl of Portland, ME and her life
friend, Jeff Hofmann and his son, Jesse of Bradford, MA; also, her maternal
grandmother, Evelyn Burke of Langdon, NH and several aunts, uncles and
cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, April 23rd at Eleven
O'clock at St Catherine of Siena Church, 285 Main Street in Charlestown with
Rev. Father Michael E. Gendron, Pastor officiating.

Interment will follow in Lower Langdon Cemetery in Langdon, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the
Springfield Humane Society at P. O. Box 398, Springfield, VT 05156.

There are no visiting hours.
