Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center from a
swimming accident in Killington, VT.
She was born in Claremont, NH on October 12, 1980 the daughter of Edmund C.
"Ted" and Katherine (Cushion) Davis, II.
She attended Goshen Elementary School and graduated from Sunapee High School
in 1999.
Jessica lived in Gunnison, CO for a couple of years and in Arcata, CA for
the past four years where she worked as a bartender and waitress at the
Plaza Grill. She was back home visiting and taking a break in her life.
She loved hiking in the mountains east and west, cooking for her family and
friends, her dog, surfing with the whales and Jessie hugs for everyone.
The surviving family includes, her mother and step-father, Katherine C. and
Ed Lancaster of Goshen; her brother, Ted Davis of New York City, NY; five
aunts, Edith P. "DeDe" Cushion and her significant other, Robert Mann of
Claremont, Barbara C. Agel and her husband, J. Stephen of Meriden, Marsha
Davis and her husband, Paul of Schenectady, NY, Jo Anne Burton and her
husband, Eugene of Springfield, Vt and Rita Johnson of Bucksport, ME; one
uncle, Arnold "Tink" Cushion and his wife, Karen of Claremont also several
cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her Dad Ted on November 24, 1995 and her Gram
Cushion on September 25, 2004.
Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
evening from 4 to 7 PM.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon at One O'clock at the
Funeral Home with Rev. Canon Marthe Dyner, Rector of the Union Episcopal
Church, officiating.
