John Levi Warner, 86, of Plainfield, NH, and formerly of Aurora, Co., died,
Thursday, August 2, 2007 at his home.

          He was born in Sunderland, MA, son of Frederick Chester and Anna
Nellie (Harrington) Warner. He was educated in the Sunderland school and
attended Tufts University. Mr. Warner was a veteran of WWII, serving as a
Lieutenant Junior Grade in the Navy from 1944-1946. He was in the Reserves
until 1956.

          He was then employed as a Professor of Electrical Engineering at
Tufts University. He continued his education obtaining a Masters Degree of
Electrical Engineering from Harvard University. He also taught Electrical
Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Ma. during the evening.  He
later worked for Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Lincoln Laboratory
in Lexington, Ma.

          After his retirement he traveled until settling in Aurora, Co. He
spent many years volunteering at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science in
Denver, Co. He was a longtime supporter of the Children International and
Plan USA Children Funds.

          He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Chester Warner, and a
sister, Freda Jean (Warner) Eyler.

          Survivors include two daughters, Ellen W. Jones of Kingston, NH,
and Susan W. Liebowitz of Plainfield, NH; four grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren; one brother, Sam Merton Warner of Aurora, CO.

          No services are planned.
