Joseph Alexander Szymujko, 76, of Clover Street in Claremont, died Wednesday
morning, July 12, 2006 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

He was born in New Britain, CT on April 4, 1930 the son of Joseph and
Gabriella (Zawatska) Szymujko and had resided in Claremont since 1956.

He was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

He retired in 1987 from the Sullivan County Cooperative Extension Service
where he worked for over thirty years with the Sullivan County Forestry
Department of UNH.

Mr. Szymujko was a Boy Scout leader for many years and was a communicant of
St Joseph Church.

The family includes his significant other, Jane Phillips of Center Sandwich;
one son, Jeffery A. Szymujko of Center Sandwich and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
from 12 noon until one O'clock prior to the funeral mass.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday afternoon, July 14th at
One-Thirty PM in St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar,
Pastor, officiating.  Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.

The family suggests that donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society, The Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Unit #8,
Bedford, NH, 03110 or to plant a tree in his memory.
