Julie Ann Gagne, 45, of Chestnut Street in Claremont, NH, died Wednesday
afternoon, March 29, 2006 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Newport, NH on July 9, 1960 the daughter of Stanley Earl and
Eleanor Arline (Ford) Glidden and resided in Claremont since 1980.

She attended Newport Schools.

Julie retired July 6, 2005 due to disability from Market Basket where she
worked as a cashier for ten years and had previously worked at the New
Hampshire Community Federal Credit Union for seven and a half years, also
the Jiffy Mart, Cumberland Farms and at the Tumble Inn Diner.

She loved her dog "Rufus", snowmobiling, yard sales and auto car racing and
traveled to several tracks in the area.   She was a member of the Shugah
Valley Snowmobile Club.

The surviving family includes her companion of 12 years, Keith Alan Girard
of Claremont; a daughter, Amy Girard of Manchester; three brothers, Donald
Glidden, Kenneth Glidden and Stanley E. Glidden, Jr. all of Newport;  three
sisters, Sandra Godsoe and Patricia Glidden both of Newport and Pamela
Joslin of Claremont and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Duane Glidden,
Larry Glidden and Kim Glidden and two sisters, Donna Glidden and Diane
Kangas.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, April 1st at Ten O'clock at
the Funeral Home with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph
Church, officiating.

Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery.
