Kimie LeBlanc, 79, of Sullivan Street in Claremont, died Tuesday morning,
March 27, 2007 at the Valley Regional Hospital. She had been a patient at
the Sullivan County Health Care.
She was born in Takinogawa, Japan on March 18, 1928 the daughter of Kintaro
and Setsu (Nakadai) Ito and had resided in Claremont since 1960.
She loved gardening, the outdoors, people, crafts, animals and particularly
the autumn and all the colors of New Hampshire. She was a loving and
dedicated wife and mother. Kimie was a happy, friendly and cheerful to the
end having been a two time cancer survivor and an alzheimer's patient.
The surviving family includes her husband, Frank R, LeBlanc, Jr. of
Claremont whom she married on July 9, 1959; one daughter, Nancy A. LeBlanc
and her husband, Farrell Woods of Hudson; one son, Norman P. LeBlanc and his
wife, Chantal of Claremont; one grandson, Nicholas LeBlanc; two brothers,
Tomihisa Ito and Katsuo Ito both of Tokyo, Japan; three sisters, Yoshiko
Suzuki of Yokohama, Japan, Aiko Ito and Chieko Kubo both of Tokyo, Japan
also two nieces and cousins.
She was predeceased by one brother, Shonosuke Ito.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday morning, March 31st at Eleven
O'clock in the Calvary Baptist Church, on Maple Avenue, with Rev. Stephen
Cook, Pastor, officiating.
