Bruce Levesque, 68, of Cat Hole Road in Claremont, died Thursday, August 25, 2005 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was a native and long life resident of Claremont, born on November 19, 1936 the son of Lawrence and Marie Jeanne (Dubuc) Levesque. Bruce graduated from Stevens High School in the Class of 1956. He worked as a machinist and model maker his entire life and was employed at Spectra Incorporated in Lebanon, NH from which he retired in January of 2005. Bruce was an avid sportsman and enjoyed his time with the ATV Club, and the Sportsman Club. He was also a member of the Moose Club. The surviving family includes his wife Nancy E. (Leahy) Levesque, of Claremont whom he married on March 19, 2005; two children, Paul B. Levesque and his wife, Diana of Cornish and Michele M. Levesque of Claremont; two sisters Cynthia Power of Nevada and Alyce Mayer of Florida also nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, August 30th at eleven o'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. The family suggests that donations may be made in his memory to Connecticut Valley Home Care/Hospice, 958 John Stark Highway, Newport, NH 03773-2609. |
