Leo Paul "Chic" Bray, Jr., 71, of Lakeside Drive in Unity, NH, died at his
home on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 following a long battle with lung cancer.

He was born in Fitchburg, MA on September 30, 1934 the son of Leo Paul and
Mary Josephine (L'Esprance) Bray and for the past ten years he has  resided
in Unity, NH for six months and in Deep River, CT for six months.

Mr. Bray graduated from high School in Fitchburg and received an Associates
Degree from Fitchburg State.

He retired, as the Claims Branch Manager, in 1989 from Kemper Insurance
Company where he worked for twenty-eight years.  He later worked with his
wife as co-owners of Philip Chamberlain Furniture Company for ten and a half
years.

He loved fishing on Crescent Lake and caught over 7000 fish, the largest
being an 8 pound large mouth bass.  He was a devoted Patriots and Red Sox
Fan, a very talented artist, enjoyed building model ships, reading and
running.  He was a member of the Bear Creek Fishing Club in Somerville, SC.

The surviving family includes his wife, Ruby Marie (Ross) Bray of Unity whom
he married on July 18, 1959; two sons, Barry William Bray and his wife, Dr.
Weng Tao of Lincoln, RI and Michael Leo Bray and his wife, Sandra of
Clinton, CT; one daughter, Kathleen Mary Woods and her husband, Stephen of
Clinton, CT; five grandchildren, Ryan, Cara, Ian, Jillian and Noelle; one
brother, William Peter Bray and his wife, Anna of Ladson, SC; one sister,
Ann Zaniboni of Hanson, MA and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, July 29th at 11:30 AM in the
Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with Rev. Father
Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph Church, officiating.

Interment will be at a later date in Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River,
CT.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his
memory to the Connecticut Valley Home Care/Hospice, 958 John Stark Highway,
