Leslie H. "Grizz" Clow, died October 13, 2006 after a long illness. He was born in West Claremont, NH on March 14, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Iona (Lombard) Clow, his sister, Carol Bonkowski and a brother, Daniel Clow. Leslie loved to hunt, fish, draw and carve. He worked in the Claremont Paper Company at 16 years old, then was in the US Navy for four years serving in Korea. He retired from the US Geological Survey in California as a topographic/cartographic engineer. He is survived by nieces, Becky, Bonnie, Brenda and Laura; nephews, Marc and Shayne; grand-nephews, Jason, R.J. and Aaron and grand-nieces. Also close friend, Jim Hanson and other remaining friends, "you know who you are". His thanks to those people that were friendly and cared about others. A graveside service will be held at Old Union Cemetery, Saturday, October 21st at Eleven O'clock. |
