Lillian Claire Brassaw, 76, of Cedar Street in Claremont, NH, died Saturday
evening, September 3, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Coventry, VT on January 13, 1929 the daughter of Donat and
Bertha (Choquette) Ferland and had resided in Claremont most of her life.

She worked at Claremont Woven Label Company for twenty-seven years  and at Tambrands, Inc. as a machine operator for seven years and retired in 1996.

Her life revolved around her family and she so enjoyed being with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Lillian had many hobbies, including
making many quilts, painting and enjoyed woodworking with many projects.

She always had a never ending supply of patience and love.  She gave her
love freely and never asking for anything in return.  She will be greatly
missed by all.

The surviving family includes three daughters, Dianne Walker of Claremont,
Denise-Freak-Evenson of Shakopee, MN and Donna Poelman of Moundsview, MN; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Roseanne LaCasse of Claremont, Jackie Fleming of Worcester. MA and Louise Kangas of
Winneboro, SC; one brother, Ronald Ferland of N. Charlestown and several
nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Allen Walker ; a
sister, Anita Ferland and a brother,  Richard Ferland

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at Eleven O'clock
in St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor,
officiating.  Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 9 to
10:30 O'clock prior to Mass.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her
memory to Connecticut Valley Home Care/Hospice, 958 John Stark Highway,
Newport, NH 03773-2609.
