Lillian Rose Daniels, 74, of East Camphill Road in Weathersfield, VT, died
Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in
Lebanon after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born in Randolph Center, VT on May 6, 1931 the daughter of Curtis
and Althea (Chambers) McCosco. 

Lillian spent most of her in Miami, FL where she worked for the Miami
Herald, in advertising doing classified auto sales and when she moved to New
England she worked briefly for the Eagle Times. 

She loved word games, email, puzzles, wildlife, birds and most particularly
hummingbirds.  She even recently was able to enjoy seeing a fox in her own
backyard!

Through the years Lillian had been very involved in her community as a
member of the Board of Directors of the Southern Windsor County United Way,
volunteered many times within her community, headed up the Weathersfield
Antique Show, was Secretary and at one time Chair of Weathersfield's
Republican party, and was elected as a Justice of the Peace for several
years.

The surviving family includes her husband, Neil H. Daniels of Weathersfield,
VT whom she married in 1983; two daughters, Shirley Bingham of Ascutney, VT
and Ann White of NYC, NY; three sons, Daniel Kelly and his wife, Linda of
Claremont, Marc Daniels of Mt Grove, MO and Philip Daniels and his wife,
Debbie of Charlestown; a daughter-in-law, Mary Roberts and her husband, Guy
of Windsor, VT; fourteen grandchildren, Greg and Shawn Nedeau, Nathan Kelly
and his wife, Carrie, Ryan and Erin Kelly, Jason Bonds and his wife Maureen,
Candice Bingham, Christopher Bingham and his wife, Jody, Jasmine Daniels,
Christa, Sophia, and Tracy White, Brandi and Marc Daniels, Jr.;  three
great-grandchildren, Samuel Bonds, Lia and C.J. Bingham; a sister, Harriett
Proulx of Wellfleet, MA and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her
loving and protective dog, Jake.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Robert Nedeau; three sisters, Myrtle
Bingham, Mary Webster and Beatrice Simpson and two brothers, William and
Frank McCosco.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, August 21st at Two O'clock
in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with Lorraine
Zigman, officiating.

Interment will follow in Weathersfield Bow Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday from one to two o'clock prior
to the services.
