Louie Marie Robbins, 89, of Fairbrother Avenue in Charlestown, died Saturday
afternoon, April 22, 2006 at her home.

She was a native and nearly life long resident of Charlestown, born on
January 1, 1917 the daughter of William A. and Ester M. (Knight) Olden.

She was a housewife and was always a hard worker.  She worked with her first
husband, George Bowen Bashaw whom she married in 1934 and worked with him in
the logging camps and he died in 1943.  She married Carl Robbins on Oct. 7,
1961 and he died Nov. 22, 1994.

Mrs. Robbins was a former member of the Windsor, VT Grange.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making quilts. 

The surviving family includes one son, George B. Bashaw, Jr. of Charlestown;
three granddaughters; two step-grandsons; one great-granddaughter and three
step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside committal services will be held Wednesday afternoon, April 26th at
One O'clock in Pine Crest Cemetery, off the Old Claremont Road in
Charlestown with Rev. Malcolm Grobe, Interim Pastor of the Charlestown
Congregational Church, officiating.

The Stringer's Charlestown Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
