Luke Turner Cheney, Jr., 69, of Kearsarge Valley Road in Wilmot, NH, died Friday morning, January 13, 2006 at the Sullivan County Health Care. He was born in New London, NH on December 10, 1936 the son of Luke T. and Arrietta (Skinner) Cheney, Sr. and had resided in Wilmot for the past twenty years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army. Mr. Cheney was a self employed logger. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. The surviving family includes his wife, Sheryl "Kathy" (Sweeney) Cheney of Wilmot; three sisters, Jessie Quinley and Lucille Chadwick both of Sutton Mills and Marion Bagley of Bowdoinham, ME; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a special long time friend, Ron Wright of N. Sutton. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
