Marcelle Rita Witham, 84, of Lempster, NH, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at her home. She was born in Montreal, PQ Canada on September 26, 1922 the daughter of Antonio and Clara (Landry) Arsenault. Mrs. Witham worked as a secretary at Goddard's Bakery in Claremont and also at Jones and Lamson Machine Company in Springfield, VT. She is survived by her husband, Norman L. Witham of Lempster. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 30th at Eleven O'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, with Rev. Alice Roberts, officiating. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery. The family suggests that donations may be made in her memory to the Lake Sunapee Region- VNA, P.O. Box 2209, New London, NH 03257.
