Manchester died Monday morning, August 29, 2005 at the nursing home. She
was born in St. Pascal Comte Kamoureska, P.Q. Canada on January 28, 1917 the daughter of Alcide and Medora (Rivard) Rivard. She lived in Claremont for
thirty-six years in Waltham, MA for twenty years and in Manchester for the
past several years.
She retired from LFE Corporation in 1982 where she worked for ten years as
an electronic assembler and inspector. She had previously worked at Clevite
Transistor Corp. and Raytheon Company.
The surviving family includes two brothers, Matthew Rivard of Claremont and
Norbert Rivard of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Isidore Rivard, Aime Rivard and
Gerard Rivard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday afternoon, September
2nd at One-Thirty in St Mary Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien,
Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St Mary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
from twelve noon to One O'clock prior to the Mass.
