Marietta Delia Lambert, 89, of Park Avenue in Claremont, died at the home of
her daughter on Tuesday evening, July 5, 2005.

She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH born on November
15, 1915 the daughter of Eugene and Emerentienne (Bolduc) Morin.  She
attended St Mary's Grammar School and Stevens High School.

Mrs. Lambert retired in the mid "80's" from the Corner Book Store where she
was a clerk and previously worked at Montgomery Ward's and Shirley's Donut
Shop.

She was a communicant of St Mary's Church and an over 60 year member of
Court Virgil H. Barber #892 Catholic Daughters of the Americas and also a
member of the Congress of Senior Citizens.

She was the widow of Rodolphe  "Rudy" Lambert whom she married on Feb. 22, 1938  and he died April 15, 2002.

The surviving family includes one daughter, Suzanne married to George
Veilleux of Claremont; one son, Michel married to Beverly Spiro of
Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren; Emily Lambert, Peter Lambert, Kathryn
Chadwick, Peter Veilleux, Elizabeth Lemieux and Patricia Riley; nine
great-grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by one brother, Lyford Morin in 1983 and three sisters,
Doris Hall in 1984, Martha Burke in 1995 and Arline (Pat) Donnely Peters in
1993. 

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont on
Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm.  Members of the Catholic Daughters will
hold a prayer sevice at 7 pm. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, July 8th, at
11 AM in St. Mary's Church with Rev. Fr. Gilmond Boucher officiating.
Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
