Marion Ruth "Honey" LeClair, 75, of Piper Hill Road in Claremont, died
Tuesday evening, October 31, 2006 at the Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health
Care Center in Windsor, Vt.

She was born and raised in Charlestown, NH, on August 24, 1931 the daughter
of Dwight and Marion (Stevens) Hill, resided in Claremont all her adult life
and wintered in Florida for fourteen years after she retired.  She was a
direct descendent of John and Priscilla Alden from the Mayflower.

She was a graduate of Charlestown High School and attended Keene State
College. 

She married Henry S. LeClair on October 8, 1950 and they operated the
LeClair Acres Farm on Piper Hill Road and retired in 1976.

She was a member and Treasurer of the Memorial Fund of the First United
Methodist Church, was in several quilting groups and was a former member of
the grange and Farm Bureau.

The surviving family includes her husband of Claremont; two sons, Gary D.
LeClair and his wife, Jean and Jeffrey K. LeClair and his wife, Karen all of
Claremont; one daughter, Lynn L. Moore and her husband, Bernard of West
Roxbury, MA and Hanover, NH; four grandsons, Jason and his wife, Tonya,
Timothy and his wife, Cory, Daniel and Thomas; two great-grandsons, Troy and
Matthew; two brothers, Harvey Hill and his wife Christina and Larry Hill and his wife Joanne all of Charlestown; one sister, Patricia Lowery  and her husband, Arnold of
Colebrook, NH;  one uncle, Karl Stevens and his wife, Patsy; one aunt,
Elizabeth Stevens all of Weathersfield Bow, VT and several nieces, nephews,
cousins and her dog, Molly.

She was predeceased by her step-mother, Inez Hill.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont
on Saturday evening from 4 to 6 PM.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 5th at Two O'clock in the First
United Methodist Church with Rev. Margaret Long, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Hope Hill Cemetery in North Charlestown.
