Mark Egan Richmond, 65, of Belding Street, died Friday morning, June 10,
2005 at his home after a long battle with cancer.  He was a native of
Claremont, NH, born on November 9, 1939 the son of Foster H. and Kathryn
"Kay" (Egan) Richmond.  He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the
Class of 1957, and attended the University of New Hampshire.  Mr. Richmond
resided in Claremont most of his life and had lived in Enosburg and St
Albans, VT for several years.  He worked as a driver for Dartmouth Motors in
Newport for the past two years where he was affectionately known as "Uncle
Mark".  He previously worked at Timken Aerospace Services of Lebanon,
Connecticut Precision of Claremont and was a guard at the Sullivan County
House of Correction, Windsor Prison System and Woodstock Correctional
Facilities.

Mark was a caring, giving man with a special love for his cats, adopting
nine, and was a long-standing active member of the Humane Society. Surviving
family members include one son, Brian F. Richmond of Claremont; two
grandchildren, Eric M. Richmond and Alysha M. Richmond; one brother, Frank L. Richmond and his wife, Bonnie of Claremont; one sister, Elizabeth Mussman and her husband, Harry of Bedford, MA; one uncle, two aunts and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Foster in 1966, his mother Kathryn in 1997
and his sister Georgia R. Croft in 2002.

A memorial service will be held in celebration of his life at the Stringer
Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont NH on Tuesday evening, June 14,
2005 between the hours of 6 P.M. and 8 P.M. for family and friends.

Interment will be held in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Plains Road,
Claremont at the convenience of the family.
