Mary Josephine Rock, 87, of Bellevue Avenue, formerly of Cornish, NH, died
Tuesday morning, February 21, 2006 at the Haven Health Center in Claremont.
She was born in Claremont, NH on November 2, 1918 the daughter of Patrick
and Clara (Thibodeau) Ladden and had resided in Cornish for fifty-two years.
She was a communicant of St Mary's Parish.  Mrs. Rock worked at Goodyear
during World War II and retired in 1981 from W.T. Grants Department Store
where she worked as a clerk.  She was the widow of Russell E. Rock whom she
married on Oct. 24, 1942 and he died Dec. 10, 1995.

The surviving family includes one daughter, Patricia Goyette of Claremont;
four sons, Robert Sprano and his wife, Normalee , John Sprano and his wife,
Diane, Thomas Rock and his wife, Pauline all of Claremont and Burton Rock
and his significant other Becky of Lempster; ten grand-children, Craig,
Christine, Michelle, Heather, Ricky, Melissa, Jason, Richard, Nicole and
Mark and twelve great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one
brother, John Ladden.

Graveside committal services will be held Friday morning, Feb. 24th at
Eleven O'clock in St Mary Cemetery with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien,
Pastor of St Mary's Parish, officiating.  The family suggests that in lieu
of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St Mary Church, 32 Pearl
Street, Claremont, NH 03743.  The Stringer Funeral Home and Crematorium, 146
Broad Street is in charge of arrangements.
