Michael B. Kelley, 24, of Newport, NH died Saturday, September 23, 2006, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Hanover on May 17, 1982 the son of John H. Gobin and Susan K. (Kelley) Orr and had previously resided in Rochester, NH.

Michael was a graduate of Newport High School the class of 2001 and recently was employed for Norm Smith and Son in Sunapee.

Michael enjoyed playing the guitar and singing in his band “ the Kellyville Killers”. Also liked drawing, skateboarding, snowboarding all types of music and spending time with family and friends.

The family includes: his father John H. Gobin and his wife Cheryl of Claremont. Three sisters, Virginia K. West her husband Dale of Claremont,

Suzanne L. Hudson her husband Tom of Rochester,NH and Amber-Leigh D. Carnes her husband Randy of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Four brothers, John H. Kelley his wife Corrine of Weathersfield,VT, Charles R. Kelley of Jacksonville, Florida, Antony J. Clough of Northfield, NH  and Ian P. Poland of Vergennes, VT.  His  grandparents, Dom and Sharon Gallo of Claremont and his very best friend Justin Belevance of Newport.

Also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his mother and grandparents, Robert and Virginia Gobin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday morning September 29, 2006 at eleven O’Clock at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont NH with Rev. Father Shawn Therrien Pastor of St. Mary Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St, Mary Cemetery.
