Mildred Amy Nelson, 85, formerly of Twistback Road and 7 Heritage Drive in
Claremont and currently was a patient for the past seven months at Peaceful
Harvest in Charlestown, died Saturday evening, May 19, 2007, at the
Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT.

She was born in West Lebanon, NH on February 20, 1922 the daughter of
Augustus and Ethel (Sweet) Richardson and had resided in Claremont for over
sixty years.

Mrs. Nelson was a communicant of St Mary's Church.

She was the widow of Bert Chellis Nelson whom she married on Feb. 22, 1941
and he died Aug. 17, 2003.

The surviving family includes two sons, Ronald Nelson and Richard Nelson and
his wife, Marion all of Claremont; two daughters, Carol Greenwood and her
husband Fred of Claremont and Patricia Walker and her husband Barry of
Croydon; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grand-children; three sisters,
Hazel Brown and her husband Ray of Charlestown, Lillian Miller of Claremont
and Irene Smart of Springfield, VT also several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by one daughter-in-law, Janice E. Nelson; two brothers,
Frederick Richardson and Lee Richardson and one sister, Dorothy Mulaney.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 to
8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning, May 24th at
Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Fr. Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor,
officiating.   Interment will follow in St  Mary's Cemetery.

The family suggests that donations may be made in her memory to St Mary's
Church Renovation Fund, 32 Pearl Street, Claremont, NH 03743.
