Olive Laura Bowen, 86, of Myrtle Street in Claremont, died Friday afternoon,
May 13, 2005 at the Valley Regional Hospital.

She was born in Springfield, VT the adopted daughter of Percy E. and  Mertie
O. (Woodward) Robinson.  She was raised in Springfield, VT, lived in
Charlestown for several years and resided in Claremont since 1984.

Mrs. Bowen was a member of St Luke's Episcopal Church in Charlestown, the
AARP local chapter, the Woodman-Aurora Chapter #26 Order of Eastern Star,
the Historical Society and the Senior Center all of Claremont.

Animals and antiques were an important part of her life.

She was the widow of Gilman W. Bowen who died May 14, 1998.

Her surviving family includes several nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service will be held Thursday, May 19th at One-Thirty
in the afternoon in Mt View Cemetery in Claremont with Rev. Canon Marthe F.
Dyner, Rector of St Luke's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Olive suggested that memorial gifts may be made in her memory to either St
Luke's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 326, Charlestown, NH 03603 or to the
Claremont Animal Hospital, (Needy Animal Fund) 446 Charlestown Road,
Claremont, NH 03743.
