Paul Victor Hardy, 78, formerly of Woonsocket Avenue, 7 Heritage Drive and
for the past six years a patient at the Sullivan County Health Care, died
Tuesday morning, July 11, 2006 at the Valley Regional Hospital.  He was a
native and life long resident of Claremont, NH, born on September 14, 1927
the son of Antonio F. and Marie Anna (Maurais) Hardy.  Paul was a veteran of
World War II and the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army and was a
member of the Oliver Lacasse VFW Post # 808.

He retired in 1980 from Jones and Lamson Machine Company of Springfield, VT
where he worked for thirty-four years.

He was the widower of Sylvia D. (Johnson)  Hardy whom he married on August
3, 1959 and she died September 22, 1992.

The surviving family includes two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Pauline) Gendron of
Manchester and Mrs. Kenneth (Dolores) Blish of Claremont; two brothers,
Charles Hardy of Claremont and Roger Hardy of Port St. Lucie, FL also
several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by one sister, Antoinette Domingue Brown  and two
brothers, George Hardy in 2005 and Rosaire Hardy in 1986.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, July
14th at Eleven O'clock in St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J.
Piwowar, Pastor officiating.  Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
