Ramona G. "Mona" Ladd, 75, of Route 120 in Cornish, NH, died Saturday morning, May 20, 2006 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia. She was born in Quechee, VT on May 18, 1931 the daughter of Harry and Rose (Legacy) Roberts. She lived in Windsor, VT most of her life and had resided in Cornish since 1988. Mrs. Ladd retired in 1991 from the Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor where she worked as a Licensed Nurses Aid for fifteen years. She was a published writer and poet, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her dogs, Willie and Mitzi and enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was the widow of William Ladd, Sr. who died May 22, 1984 and was also pre-deceased by her parents, a sister, Shirley Cross and two brothers, Harry Roberts and Lee Roberts. The surviving family includes three sons, Robert Williams and his wife, Rose of Center Harbor, NH, Randy Williams and his wife, Sue of Cornish and Bill Ladd and his wife, Connie of Claremont; eight grandchildren, Danielle, Travis, Kristen, Kathryn, Dylan, Noah, Shawn and Kevin; five great-grandchildren, Bailey, Drew, Aiden, Ashlynn and Matthew; two sisters, Bev Titorenko of Claremont and Cal Beaulieu of Ascutney, VT also nieces, nephews and many friends, especially Beverly Burnor and Karen Jones. Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning, May 24th at Eleven O'clock at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor, VT.
