Raoul J. Vigneault, 98, formerly of 243 Broad Street and Trinity Street,
died Tuesday morning, June 5, 2007 at the Sullivan County Health Care.
He was born in St. Samuel PQ Canada on December 26, 1908 the son of Donat
and Eugenie (Helie) Vigneault and had resided in Claremont most of his life
and lived in Maine near the Allagash River area for several years.
Mr. Vigneault worked as a taxi driver and self employed as a yard worker and
gardener.
The surviving family includes several nieces, including a special niece,
Patricia Barrette who watched over him and nephews and cousins.
He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Jeannette Duhaime in 1962 and Edith
Girard in 2000; three brothers, Hermann "Armand" Vigneault in 1969, Rudolph
"Rudy" Vigneault and Omer "Jack" Vigneault in 1997.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, June 8th at
Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien,
Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM
prior to going to Mass.
