Richard Holmes Lowe, 62, of Front Street in Claremont, died Friday evening,
November 9, 2007 at the Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon
surrounded by his family.

He was born in Paterson, NJ on January 2, 1945 the son of Donald Payne and
Erma Jean (Cole) Lowe.  He lived in Keene for nearly twenty years and had
resided in Claremont since 1982.

Richard loved music and played in the Ernie Lake and the Way of Life Band in
the Keene area in the 70's and 80's and also played in several jamborees.

He was self employed doing electronic repair work part time for many years
and also worked as a taxi cab driver, county coach driver, doing assembly
work at home for Whalen Industries and lastly for J.C. Penny in West Lebanon
for the past year and a half in the catalog department.

Richard was active with ham radios and was known as N1GKZ and loved his
grandchildren and family.

The surviving family includes his wife, Sheila J. (Harris) Lowe of
Claremont, whom he married on September 3, 1982; one daughter, April Gove of
Dorchester; five sons, Christopher Lowe, Donald Lowe and Andrew Lowe all of
Claremont, Dennis Lowe of Keene and Brian Lowe of Northport, FL; five
grandchildren, Madison, Christopher, Hannah, Kyira and Nathan; four
brothers, Jimmy Lowe of Verona, NY, Dan Lowe of North Eastham, MA, David
Lowe of East Waterboro, ME and Tim Lowe of Wellfleet, MA; two sisters,
Barbara Lowe of North Eastham, MA and Kathy Lowe of Thornton also nieces,
nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased besides his parents, an infant grandson Tamzen Shea
Carpenter Lowe and a brother, Stephen Lowe.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, November 13th at Two
O'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with his
brother, David Lowe, officiating.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 - 2 PM prior to the
services.
