Rita Mary Laplante, 91, of 174 Main Street in Claremont, NH, died Monday
morning, April 30, 2007 at the Haven Health Center of Claremont.

She was born in Bellows Falls, VT on August 18, 1915 the daughter of Nelson
and Mary (Lawlor) Eno and had resided in Claremont for seventy years.   She
was the widow of Emile F. Laplante whom she married on November 13, 1937 and
he died December 14, 1976.

The surviving family includes one son, James F. Laplante and his wife, Linda
of Claremont; grandsons, Nelson Laplante and Kevin Laplante both of
Claremont and Michael Laplante of Springfield, VT; eight
great-grand-children; one sister, Cecelia MacDonald of Chicopee, MA; two
sister-in-laws, Yvette Pelton and her husband Robert of Lebanon and Alice
Eno of Titusville, FL and several nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased
by a son Nelson Laplante, two brothers, Charles Eno and John Eno and five
sisters, Harriet Gibson, Angeline Brassard, Catherine Eno, Elizabeth Joiner
and Mary Lizotte.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, May 4th at
Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien,
Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to going to church.
