"Rondy" Boccia, 49. of Bible Hill Road in Claremont, died Sunday, September
4, 2005 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, born on March 27, 1956
the daughter of George L. and Emily M. (Amitrano) Boccia.

Rondy graduated from Stevens High School in the Class of 1974 and also
attended Boston College and UVM.

She owned and operated Boccia's Fruit Store, in the old Tremont Square,
which was a family business since 1933 until they closed in 1995.  She later
worked at Tatras on Sullivan Street for the past ten years.

She loved and was dearly loved by her family, friends, co-workers.

The surviving family includes her mother, Emily of Claremont; one sister,
Maria of Claremont; one brother, Dr. George L. Boccia and his wife,
Kathleen, one niece, Emily Alice Boccia, all of Hallowell, ME; one uncle,
Anthony Amitrano and his wife, Bruni of Yonkers, NY and many cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her father, George L. Boccia who died July 6, 1978.

A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home,
146 Broad Street in Claremont on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Interment will be private in St Mary's Cemetery.
