Ruth Amelia Caton, 85, of East Road in Cavendish, died Sunday morning, July
29, 2007 at the Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT.  She was born in
Tyngsboro, MA on June 4, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Flora (Durand)
Russon and was a summer resident of Cavendish for the past 40 years.  She
wintered in Hudson, Florida.

She was a graduate of Lowell High School, Lowell, MA  and a former member of
the Crown Point Country Club in Springfield, VT.

Mrs. Caton was the manager of Caton Place Campground which she owned and
operated with her husband.

The surviving family includes her husband, Warren Carl Caton, whom she
married on December 31, 1942; one son, Russell W. Caton and his wife Linda
of Chelmsford, MA; two granddaughters, Laura Thomas and her husband
Christopher of Chelmsford, MA and Amy Hamilton and her husband Wayne of
Andover, MA; one great grandson, Zachary Thomas of Chelmsford; one
great-granddaughter, Tiffany  Hamilton of Andover, MA; one sister, Jean
Howland and her husband Ernie of Pepperell, MA; nieces, nephews and friends.
She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Virginia Fox and Blanche Eurban.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2007 between eleven
and twelve-thirty at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford, MA.
