She was born in Taunton, MA on November 11, 1946 the daughter of Leroy and
Lorraine (Sears) Gregg. She was a graduate of Taunton High School, lived in
Proctor, VT for eight years and had resided in Claremont since 1981. She
worked in banking in Claremont starting in 1983 with Bank East later with
First New Hampshire and currently was Vice President with Citizens Bank.
Susan was on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of Valley Regional
Hospital; the Hospice Board and was the secretary for Robert Jackson at the
Claremont Chamber of Commerce.
The surviving family includes her husband, Richard P. Madigan of Claremont
whom she married on June 11, 1966; two daughters, Colleen M. Eaton and her
husband, John of Claremont and Shannon E. Angielski and her husband, Jeffrey
of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, Cullen and Broghan Eaton and Sasha
Rose Angielski; one brother, Donald Gregg of Taunton, MA; three sisters,
Carol Amaral of East Bridgewater, MA, Patricia Barry of Easton, MA and
Kathleen Peabody of Raynham, MA also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in
Claremont on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary's Church in
Claremont on Tuesday, October 17th at Eleven O'clock, with Rev. Father
Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating.
Friends may call at the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in
Taunton, MA on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM.
Interment will be in St Mary's Cemetery in Taunton, MA on Thursday.
