Thelma Louise Ferland, 82, of Pine Hill Mobile Home Park, died Tuesday
morning, October 11, 2005 at her home on Megan Place in Claremont.

She was born in Charlestown, NH on March 3, 1923 the daughter of Orson P.
and Sadie (Lombard) Nichols.  She was raised in Charlestown and graduated
from Charlestown High School.  She married Lawrence W. Ferland on June 9,
1951 and moved to Claremont and lived on East Green Mt. Rd., later on
Mulberry St. and at Pine Hill since 1993.

Mrs. Ferland retired in 1985 from the Holson Photo Album Company where she
worked for three years, previously at W.T. Grants for ten years, Hood Egg
Plant in Bellows Falls, VT and during the war at Jones & Lamson Machine Co.
in Springfield, VT.

She loved her family and enjoyed baking, cake decorating, flowers, knitting
and crocheting.

The surviving family includes her husband of Claremont; two sons, Thomas A.
Ferland and William B. Ferland both of Charlestown; one daughter, Carol A.
Noel of Salem, OR; four grandchildren, Eric & Matt Ferland and Nick &
Savannah Noel; one brother, Herbert W. Nichols of SCNH, Unity also numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Barbara Sinor who died June 4, 2004 and four sisters, Lillian French, Vera LaClair, Norma Chisholm and Marion
Forest.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Friday evening from 5 to 7 PM.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning,
Oct. 15th at Eleven O'clock in St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J.
Piwowar, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
