Theodore W. Severance, 57, of 7 Trinity Street, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Haven Health Center of Claremont.  He was born in Sherburne, VT, on June 9, 1948 the son of Cleo A. and Margaret (Canada) Severance. He attended school in Hartford, VT and served in the US Army. He resided in Claremont for the past ten years and previously lived in the Upper Valley.  He was a self employed dry wall finisher. The surviving family includes a daughter, Teddy Lyn Severance of Barre, VT, a son, Theodore W. Severance, Jr. of Springfield, VT; two brothers, Anthony Severance of Enfield and Robert Severance of Wells River, VT; a half brother, James Rayborn of Rutland, VT; three sisters, Darlene Durphey of N. Haverhill, Flonnie Severance of Lebanon and Beverly Mills of Greenville, SC; also nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Terry Severance and two sisters, Claudina Severance and Tina Severance. There are no visiting hours.  A private graveside inurnment service will be held Monday at the family lot in the Prosper Cemetery in Woodstock, VT.
