Theodoris Louise Hoffman, 94, a former long time resident of Erin Court and Stanley Street in Charlestown, died Tuesday evening, January 24, 2006 at the Sullivan County Health Care. She was born in North White Lake, NY on August 22, 1911 the daughter of Theodore D. and Louise (Von Morstein) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Charlestown High School in the Class of 1929 and also Colby-Sawyer College in the Class of 1932. Miss Hoffman retired in 1970 from Fellows Gear Shaper Company in Springfield, VT where she worked as a secretary for twenty-seven years and had previously worked for Brouselee Law firm for a short time and Norton Company in Worcester, Ma for four years. She was a member of the Senior Citizens, the Historical Society, the Business and Professional Women, the Garden Club and St. Luke's Episcopal Church Guild all of Charlestown and the Colby-Sawyer Alumni Association. The surviving family includes several cousins in the mid west, and many dear friends in Charlestown including Geneva W. Lanphear, Aune Conant and Jean Anderson. Funeral services will be held Friday. Jan. 27th at One O'clock in the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street with Rev. Canon Marthe F. Dyner, Rector of St Luke's Episcopal Church, officiating.
