Theresa Y. "Terry" Bonneville, 61, of Prospect Street in Claremont,  died of
cancer on Thursday evening, November 9, 2006, at the Valley Regional
Hospital.

She was born in Claremont on May 15, 1945, the daughter of George and Yvette
(Lambert) Bonneville.  While she was born in Claremont, was raised in
Claremont and lived her entire life in Claremont, her heart belonged in
Alaska.

In 2001, after years of dreaming of and talking about going to Alaska, Terry
traveled by train from Claremont and across Canada to reach the state of her
dreams.  The visit was all she had hoped for.  The vastness of the place,
its natural beauty, its people, and its wildlife were what made Alaska so
special for her.

Another reason Alaska was so special for her was that it is home to so many
of another of Terry's loves; the American Bald Eagle.  Her passion for
eagles was plain to see.  Wearing eagle T-shirts, an eagle wrist watch, and
collecting numerous eagle statues, eagle photos, and other related items,
the American Bald Eagle became her symbol.

Terry was also often seen throughout the area practicing her other
interest-- photography.  Her subjects ranged from nature and wildlife to
church buildings and church services and activities, and cemeteries,
especially if they contained zinc gravestones.  She was a member of and
exhibited with the Newport Camera Club and won numerous awards for her
pictures.  She was also a member of the NH Old Graveyard Association, the
Claremont Historical Society and the American Bald Eagle Foundation.

Preceded in death by her father, Terry is survived by her mother, Yvette
Mantere of Claremont; a brother, Victor G. Bonneville and his wife, Iona
(Sweet) of Attleboro, MA; and several cousins, nephews and a niece.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 13th at Eleven
O'clock in Old St. Mary's Church in West Claremont, with Rev. Father Stanley
J. Piwowar, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.

It was Terry's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her
memory to the Claremont Historical Society, 26 Mulberry Street, Claremont,
NH 03743.
