Thomas Allan Goyette of Lafayette Street in Claremont, died Tuesday,
September 6, 2005 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

He was 59.

Thomas was born in Claremont, June 13, 1946, the son of Eugene and Louise
(Simms) Goyette.  He was raised by Elmer P. Ayer whom he knew as his real
father and his mother, Louise (Dolly) Ayer.

He married Lorraine M. (Hawkins) of Claremont on March 29, 1969.

Mr. Goyette is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Anderson and her
husband, Rick of Grantham and  Heather Callum and her husband Todd of Unity; four grandchildren, Michael and Savanna Callum and William and Jonathan Anderson; his father, Elmer P. Ayer of Claremont; two brothers, Donald Ayer of Cornish and Larry Ayer, Sr. of Wells River, VT; one sister, Jane
Companion of Claremont; several nieces, nephews and cousins and three half
sisters, Donna, Teri and Cathy.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Marie Goyette on July
29, 1969 and his mother, Louise Ayer on November 23, 1990.

Thomas was a graduate of Stevens High School and served in the US Army and National Guard for six years.  In his early years, he worked for Leblanc
Drywall and later started his own business, T&D Drywall and also worked for
CSI as a drywall foreman.  Since 1994 to the present, he worked at Oldenburg
(Cannon) as a painter.  His family was very important to him, especially his
grandchildren.  He had a special love for his dog, Bandit.  He liked classic
cars and car shows, woodworking and being outdoors.

Visitation for Thomas will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, September 8th at the
Stringer Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at
9 AM at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Shawn M. Therrien Pastor officiating.
Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.

The family suggest memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's
choice.
