Vicki Lynn Raymond Lavertue, 57, of Olive St. in Springfield, VT, died
Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon,
NH after several long term illnesses.

She was born August 28, 1948 in Claremont, NH, the daughter of Russell
Anderson and Audrey "Jackie" (Beam) Wentzell and the step-daughter of Farish
Wentzell and was a longtime resident of Claremont. She was a graduate of
Stevens High School Class of 1970 and later received an associates degree
from Big Bend College in Germany.

She was a veteran of Desert Storm having served in the US Army National
Guard for seventeen years where she received several medals, certificates
and plaques including the Bronze Star.

When she returned home she worked at the VA Hospital in White River Jct, VT
where she was loved by all her employees and patients.

She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter and being able
to do things with her family and friends.

She leaves behind her longtime boyfriend Stuart Thompson whom she loved
deeply and her cat and dog; her daughter, Merridee Sanborn of Springfield,
VT who cared for her for the past few years; adopted daughter Lisa Levesque
of VA; four sons, Alan Raymond, Jr., Jeremy Raymond, Sr. and his wife
Jennifer all of Franklin and Corey Raymond and Jason Raymond and his wife
Kristie all of Claremont; her grandchildren, Christal, Christopher, Joshia,
Steffen, Donnie, Josh, Jason, Micha, Jeremy Jr., Kimberly, Tyler, Kismec,
Majestic, Taylor, Camron; one great-grand-daughter, Destiny Blanchard
several adopted grandchildren.

Vicki was also survived by two sisters, Tawnna Villeneuve and her husband
Ron of Enfield, NH and Cherri Jackson of Springfield, VT; three bothers,
Rodney Anderson and his wife, Linda of Manchester, NH, Randy Wentzell and
his wife, Alicia of Claremont and Rocki Wentzell of Claremont; two
step-sisters Sandy and Linda; half sister, Tammy; two step-brothers Joe and
Dennis Sylvester and several other half brothers and sisters, nieces, great
nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was pre-deceased by her great nephew, Mickie Nadeau and other soldiers.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Members of the American Legion Post #29 and the VFW Post #808 are asked to
meet at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7:15 PM and the Women of the
Moose Lodge #629 will meet at 7PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31st at Twelve Noon with Rec.
Dr. Winn Alley, Pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.

Interment will follow at the State of Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph,
VT.
