Vivien Ann Colby, 64, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at her home in
Charlestown, following a long-term illness.

She loved to crochet, knit and do many other arts and crafts with her
friends and family.  She was well known for her many styles of quilts she
put together.  She was a long-term resident of Claremont, NH.  She worked at
Dorr Woolen, The Lobster Trap, Topps Furniture, Encore Shoe and Bomar.
However her greatest work was being at home to raise her large family
throughout the generations.

She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Colby, Sr., of 42 years; her dog,
Buttons; her daughter, Penney and husband, Leonard Gagne, Sr. of Lempster,
NH; her son, Rickey Bemis of Springfield, VT; her daughter, Debbey and
husband, David Champney of Cornish, NH; her son, Donnie and wife, Chrystal
Bemis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her son, Roger Jr. and his wife Marilynn Colby
of Manchester, NH and her son, Toby and his wife, Katie Colby of Lempster,
NH.  She also has 32 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She is
also survived by her two sisters, Amanda Thatcher and Ginger Thibault both
of Lempster, NH and her two brothers, Clifton Jr. and his wife, Edith
LaBounty of Suncook, NH and Raymond LaBounty of Claremont.   She was
pre-deceased by her parents, Clifton Sr. and Violet LaBounty.

She was a very loving, caring, kind hearted woman who had a huge heart.  She
was always giving more than she could to anyone who needed it.   She will be
missed and forever loved by her family and friends.  L2U4ETL
